What goes on a Canadian resume, in what order, and what to leave off. No photo, no date of birth, no marital status. For most people it runs 1 to 2 pages.

Every article shows when it was published, and a second date when it has been updated since. Hiring practices and immigration rules change, so check the date before acting on anything time sensitive.
The advice should work whether or not you ever use CVMaple. When an article talks about our own tools, it says so plainly.
Some articles touch on work permits, the PGWP or Express Entry, but only the resume side of them. For anything about your status, go to IRCC or talk to a licensed immigration consultant (RCIC) or a lawyer.

Most Canadian employers expect a reverse chronological resume: contact details, a short summary, work experience with the most recent job first, then education and skills. Leave off your photo, date of birth, marital status and SIN. The Canadian resume format guide goes through each section.
1 to 2 pages for most people. One page is usually enough for students and people early in their careers, and two is normal once you have several years of relevant work. Federal government applications are the main exception: 2 to 3 pages is common there, because reviewers want detail on each qualification.
Many do, particularly larger employers, public sector organizations and recruitment agencies. An ATS stores applications and lets recruiters search and sort them, so a resume that reads cleanly and uses the same words as the posting is easier to find. You can check how yours reads for free.
You can reuse the content, but usually not the format. CVs from many countries include a photo, personal details and long lists of duties, none of which Canadian employers expect. Rewrite it as a Canadian resume: give job titles their local equivalents, explain foreign credentials and lead with results. The newcomer resume guide shows how.
Send one when the posting asks for it, and it rarely hurts when it does not. Keep it to one page, write it for that job, and use it to explain what the resume cannot, such as a move to Canada or a change of field.

No. Articles about the PGWP, Express Entry or work permits cover the resume side only. For questions about your status or eligibility, use the official IRCC website or talk to a licensed immigration consultant or lawyer.
